TONY TAN - CONSULTANT, SPEAKER AND TRAINER
Master Tony Tan was born in 1961 in Singapore. After having enjoyed many years in two different previous professions, Tony has finally embraced his most passionate role ever, as a Fengshui and destiny analysis consultant providing the most vital advice to people connected to him.
Tony was a former analyst with the Ministry of Defence of Singapore, and then a stockbroker from 1994 to 2001 in DBS Securities and UOB Securities. In his spare time in all those years, he was also a freelance bilingual writer, interpreter, and a film critic. He has written many short stories and numerous film critiques in both English and Chinese.
As a stockbroker, he was the most popular weekly stock market guest commentator on the Mandarin radio station FM95.8 for eight years.
Using his Chinese metaphysical knowledge he predicted the great 1999 Bull Run two years before it happened, and used descriptions such as OPTIMAL STRENGTH and PEAK PERFORMANCES to have predicted the record breaking trends in financial markets in 2007.
As an enthusiast of Chinese culture and history since his childhood, Tony embraced Chinese metaphysics in the most natural way. He finally made his advanced studies in Hong Kong in 1995 with several teachers. With the blessing from his local teacher, Venerable Guangxuan of Pu Zhao Chan Si, Tony began his professional practice in 1995.
Tony established Harmony Fengshui Astrology Centre in October 2004, and Harmony Academy of Chinese Metaphysics in March 2005. He aims to use his knowledge and skills to help improve the life of others. At the same time, he hopes to bring more awareness of Chinese metaphysics to those who are keen to learn more about it.
As an invited speaker in the 3rd International Fengshui Convention (IFSC 2006) held in November 2006 in Singapore, Tony has established his reputation among practitioners in the Fengshui fraternity, while all the while enjoying the confidence and trust of his customers and friends, on his knowledge, no nonsense attitude, sincere advice, and his contemporary perspective on life and living.
He has made appearances on local TV predicting the stock market, and sharing his knowledge on Chinese philosophy and astrology. He has also appeared on BBC's Asian Market Report, CNBC Asia and Bloomberg TV for financial market predictions. He writes Chinese New Year predictions for Post Magazine of South China Morning Post, Hong Kong, and contributes monthly Fengshui articles to Se Xiang Wei, a leading Chinese food magazine in Singapore since February 2008.
Tony has made full use of his bilingual capacity to write a rare English book on Ziwei Doushu in 2005. He hopes to be able to write more books on this topic because he thinks that Ziwei Doushu is the most powerful Chinese metaphysical methodology to provide guidance in life, yet the non-Chinese readers are deprived of the true essence of this precious knowledge. He thinks that the wide spread of this knowledge would benefit humankind greatly. And that is also the reason that he is very dedicated in teaching this knowledge.
